Well, I have actually for years wanted to make a website - both for the purpose of providing services and as a home for my photos. My original goal was to provide abortion support services for people in Alberta. Having worked in abortion care for a few years, I noticed that there is a lack of emotional and spiritual support surrounding this experience. As someone with a mental health-related degree and who has worked in the field, I have seen such a focus on the mental, without enough regard to how a holistic approach incorporates the body in a somatic, energetic, and spiritual sense. Grief, trauma, loss, heartbreak, abandonment, rejection, other unprocessed emotions, and unsustainable coping patterns become stored in our body - physically and energetically - leading to chronic mental and physicall illness/dis-ease as well as a feeling of stuckness in our circumstances. This can look like multiple relationships that mirror feelings of abandonment we experienced as children, burn out in work environments, chronic pain, digestive discomfort - the list really goes on.
I believe that the human body has the natural ability to restore itself to health. I believe that, as a species, we do not need to fear viruses, germs, parasites, 'demons.' These things currently have a tangible effect because, collectively, we do not understand we have the Power to heal quite naturally and easefully from these things. I have experienced chronic illness for 10 years now and am still currently healing from it. I have kept myself stuck in patterns of subconsciously feeling attracted to people who cannot meet my depth, who do not have the same emotional availability I have for them, and therefore, relationships that truly are not compatible at a foundational level. The most progress I have ever made has been within mere months through regulating my nervous system via craniosacral therapy. For the past almost six years, I have been working on various areas of my life to build a foundation to heal, but I am now at a point where I am actually able to start releasing pent up emotions, energy, trauma, pain, and patterns somatically.
One of my goals is to be able to provide energy and quantum healing in addition to nervous system regulation and somatic release for people - for free. I believe everyone deserves access to healing, and I feel deeply committed to offering this to people in a way that creates true change. I am still building my skills, toolkit, and confidence, but I have been prompted that I do have natural and powerful healing abilities. Among other things, I am able to recognize patterns that have been programmed into the nervous system and ways to resolve them.
I continue to become aware of my mission here, which, in part, is in conflict resolution - internal, in relationship, and between larger entities, like war. I am still learning and gathering pieces of how this all looks and trying to make sense of it all. It feels delusional at times, and I push it away as grandeur or saviourism, but at my core, I do believe that "the limit does not exist" and that this work is not even a choice per se but part of an absolutely necessary path to change on Earth. The more we heal within ourselves, the less we give in to fear, and the less we see each other as threats. The Land deserves to Heal. The Ecosystem deserves to come into Balance. We deserve True Joy and Fulfillment, and I fundamentally believe this is achievable. We all have different parts to play - this is mine.
This website is for me to Express the different Parts of me that need it. Not for any goal other than to turn some of what I Feel into Form. The ripple effect of that will be what it may. <333
